Greenplan Consultants is presenting a week long DesignBuilder v.6 training opportunity from the 28th - 31th October 2019 at 314 On Clark in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Topics covered
The course will cover the following topics on a day-by-day basis. Please note that the first two days form a package called DesignBuilder fundamentals.
- Day 1: 3D Modeller: The first module is the introduction to the DesignBuilder interface, with a focus on model geometry information input and drawing models.
- Day 2: Simulation: This module focuses on running simulations and extracting data from DesignBuilder.
- Day 3: SANS 10400-XA: This day demonstrates how DesignBuilder is easily used to determine whether a house complies with the SANS 10400-XA standard by following the building energy modelling route.
- Day 4: Detailed HVAC: This module demonstrates how DesignBuilder is used to model modern HVAC systems at the component detail level.
- Day 5: Advanced topics: This day looks at other powerful modules and calculation functionality within the software. The course is structured in such a way that the three most popular topics will be covered: (1) CFD (2) Natural Ventilation and (3) Thermal Comfort.
